The exhibit will showcase the park’s unique collection of posthumous portraits, hair wreaths, and hair jewelry that all tell the unique story of the people they belonged to. Many of these objects have never been exhibited and have come out of storage for this new exhibit. Exhibited together they weave a tale of family, love, loss, and societal views on death from the late colonial period through the Victorian era.
